A bunch of us wanted to take the last tour of Alcatraz Island after attending a singles ministry retreat up in San Francisco.  Unfortunately, the tour was sold out by the time we got there.  We also found out that four people wasn't enough to get the group rate.  So we saw Alcatraz from a distance.  A good thing we didn't go on the tour since the fog rolled in to become terribly cold after being sunny and warm for most of the day.  We ended up walking around the different piers and sampling the food.
